Dinusha T. Jayawardene is a Sri Lankan based Contemporary Artist who is also a lawyer by profession and has a passion towards charitable causes. She studied art at the famous Cora Abraham Art Class initially, and subsequently further developed her creative skills at Sapumal Foundation. Painting has always been her passion ever since childhood and it has not changed although many years have passed since then. Her journey in art interestingly depicts a shift from painting faces in a very modern way to just about anything abstract. Her artwork was featured in Jaggery- a DesiLit Arts and Literature Journal, in 2015. Proceeds from the sale of her paintings will go towards opportunities to improve the lives of those with mental ill-health in Sri Lanka.
