Devon Grimes is a working artist based in Brooklyn, New York. Raised in Virginia, she has a B.A. in Oil Painting with a focus on portraiture from the University of Virginia. After dabbling in the gallery and auction house side of the art world, Devon found herself desiring a more creative life, so she moved into floral design and installation work. She now works full time as an artist- deriving much of her inspiration from her years spent working with florals. As of June 2022, three of Devon's recent paintings can be seen installed above the bar at Danny Meyer's iconic Union Square Cafe, in Manhattan. She primarily works in oil, acrylic, and oil pastel.
