ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The last few years with the world wide pandemic have made many people feel out of control with their lives and with how the future will unfold. I was inspired to make a high impasto painting with a coiled center to express that feeling, The feeling that there were major obstacles to overcome, but with a calm center that could be hope for the future. I chose the medium of gravel and sand and acrylic paste medium to make this painting. Also the colors give it a sense of drama.
