Yuliia Melnyk is a self-taught Ukrainian artist, that moved to the UK due to the war in Ukraine. However, it did not stop her from doing art. Oil and acrylic are Yuliia's dominant mediums. Her paintings - are typically about the world and nature. She also finds inspiration in her homeland, its landscapes, flowers, traditions, and people. Yuliia tries to reflect her deep feelings on canvases using different painting technics. She believes that art is something that can heal a damaged soul, and creativity helps to feel freedom and connection with the world. Artist thinks that life is a wonderful gift and we should live it fully, originally, and express ourselves as our heart tell us. She expresses emotions through the colours on the canvas. She often uses a vivid palette in her paintings. Each piece of art she makes with love, showing passion for life and trying to convey emotions to the viewer.
