This painting is my 4th from my ‘Perspective Eye’ series which was painted in acrylic paint and gesso. Having kept the same theory and aspects of the intellectual abstract art, I would like to portray similar compositions to realise the importance of perceiving colour in our mind’s eye by utilising contrasts. This is slightly different from my previous ones and was created as a tribute to the inspirational grand abstract artist Jackson Pollock. He certainly was influential on the way we see art nowadays and myself included. With his experimentation of colour and deliberate dripping ‘strokes’ he continued to help open up our minds and liberate our thinking. His work in definitely not rigid, so neither his concept. I suppose it would not help to just look at his art aesthetically, but more profoundly to get a better effect, a better vibe. His immense works of art would most probably be enough to make an impact. Thank you for your interest. Zeal. P.S. The 3.7 cm gallery wrapped sides are neatly finished in the graffiato grey effect keeping in with the background of the painting, so no frame is required.

Jason is a painter and illustrator of various styles and different media for different ends. Principally a surrealistic and abstract artist, he has a fondness for satire and caricature, with a hint of humour fantasy and the whimsical. Nevertheless, there is a realistic and a sober aspect to some of his work too. His different genres of works are ongoing series which are added to from time to time, whether it is his Aviary, Abstract, Allegoric or any other style he employs. World events, social affairs and politics draw his attention, but he can be inspired by everything and anything seen, heard or felt. His expression can be direct or ambiguous. What is prevalent throughout his work is light, movement and flow, hardly any black is employed, leaning towards enlightenment.
