ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is one of my favorite recent works because I didn't even realise how meaningful it was. I had one of the worst panic attacks of my life, I was completely frozen and struggling for breath in abject terror for a full hour, and then I immediately painted this. I couldn't figure out why until more recently. I can't think of anything that better represents how I felt in that hour than a suffocating fish, unable to move.
