About The Artwork
Years ago I had started a series called “Elevating the Mundane” that ran for over 30 paintings. I’ve sold most of them and didn’t look at the posts for years. A few weeks back I happened to look back on those posts and was blown away by the beauty of the photographs I had taken of these simple paper sculptures. So, with my increase in skill over the years I’ve set out to do the photos justice in oils. But this time I hope to propel them further with color. I'm an artist with a goal to do art every single day for the rest of my life. My biggest regret is not doing art for more than 5 years and losing most of my skill.
