About The Artwork
On the road, the journey, the landscape which scrolls at full sped through the window of the train or the car. The gaze is lost, the image disintegrates, the memories are superimposed. The road is the promise of the unknown, of a meeting, it is the time that streches , slows down or accelerates, it is the impression of being a spectator and an actor at the same time. This series of painting draws on scraps of travels in Japan, Scotland, Ireland, Italy, California, Canada and France, always with the road as a motive.

Saint Martin
I was born in 1969, Britanny,to a family of artists. Drawing and painting being my favorite means of expression, I logically became a student at the Fine Art College in Rennes, where I familiarized myself with different technique while studying the History of Arts. After completing my studies in 1996, I "enlisted" as an Art teacher, and I taught in various junior high schools in Normandy before moving to Guadeloupe where I lived for five years. I moved to Saint-Martin, French West Indies, in 2006.
