ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Something about pears. They are so human-like to me. The story is about a trip to Cabo in Mexico made by my daughter, her husband and my son. They had such a great time. So I painted them in Cabo as pears. Beautiful, colorful, happy, expressionist, modern still life with pears sitting close to each other on a flowery blue surface backed by a yellow-on-yellow pattern. I want you to be happy when you see it. I am.

The influence of the desert on the colors was phenomenal. Surrounded by Native American artwork and the work of other desert artists was an amazingly influential experience.
