Born the son of a miner in 1963, I knew from an early age that my life would follow an artistic creative path even though it was a hard path to follow being brought up in a very 'man's man world. My work has moved away from early surrealist photorealism to a more contemporary style in recent years allowing me a new freedom in my pieces.
