the beauty of Nova Scotia through his art and photography. Quiet inlets, coves, lakes, forest and the awesome power and majesty of the sea are his favorite subjects.
Ivan’s latest endeavor is authoring “Peggy of the Cove” the legendary sole survivor of a shipwreck in the 1800’s. Some claim she was too young to remember her name. The family who adopted her called her Peggy. Curious folks from miles around would say, “Let’s go see Peggy of the Cove.” Resident’s of the rocky coastal fishing community, impressed by Peggy’s charming, adventurous personalty, eventually named their village in her honor, Peggy’s Cove.
