ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is actually Penny's garden (some garden!). I was inspired to paint this scene because several components gave rise to a perfectly sublime landscape that makes a person want to be right there - just like Sophie. She's sitting and looking at the deer that was actually right there - dead centre of the lawn posing away! There is a lake, there are crops growing in the fields, trees, flower and the bluest of skies. Is this the garden of Eden?
