ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Part of the Womb With A View Series. "Phase II" is a reflection of the many phases you enter within pregnancy, but also during delivery. "Phase II" has a tranquil feel to it, created with a sibling painting, "Phase I". The two together create a symbois while hung together, or work as hanging on their own. This collection was created during the last few months of my pregnancy between February and March 2021, as a reflection of the experience. Womb With A View was intended to reflect what baby sees from within the womb and highlights certain special moments I experienced as a mother throughout pregnancy as well.
