ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Pick N Mix is a large, vibrant and textured painting that incorporates symbols and shapes to create a striking composition. Samuel has used plaster, pumice paste, gels and cracking paste to create a textured surface. He then used acrylic paints, spray paints and pouring medium to add every colour in the rainbow to the surface. The hearts, x's, circles moons and 'blobs' all meld together to create a painting full of joy and childhood wonder. The title Pick N Mix was suggested to Samuel by a friend, with the vibrant array of colours and the happiness evoked from the painting reminding him of sweets. 'Pick N Mix' is shipped ready to hang with its fixings and wire already attached. It is shipped in fully recyclable materials.
