Acrylic on canvas cupcake with smarties sprinkling. Realism with an edge is perhaps my favourite genre. Cupcakes, with their brilliant colour and texture are wonderful to paint. Art is glazed for colour enhancement and protection and is ready to hang with wire attached.

Stephen Graham

About the Artist

Stephen Graham

Australia

Stephen Graham was an established Australian painter with national exposure. He was interested in the graphics and symbols that we witness everyday in both urban design and advertising, attempting to distill these images into his paintings. Graham believed that these images, which we generally take for granted or even fail to notice, influence our lives in some way. His task was to present them in a form that is both creative and provocative.
His background as an illustrator in Advertising and publishing gave him a great platform for fine art. His work is in collections in Australia, USA, Hong Kong, UK, and South Africa
