Before the trees leafed out in Spring, I took a morning walk through a North Carolina forest. Bright green shoots had emerged from dormant ground. The air glowed pink. The pink signified to me, the imminent appearance of leaves, blossoms and new growth. A Promise that Spring was coming at last. This painting is on stretched archival cotton canvas. The painting continues to the sides of the painting, so it is wired and ready to hang on the wall.
