About The Artwork
The inspiration for this piece came from my TV going haywire in the middle of a football game. Pixels in a variety of colors were popping up all across the screen. The more I watched the pixel color changes the more excited I got. I wanted to create a similar effect on canvas.Sometimes the screen was dominated with reds, oranges, a few bright turquoise pixels and black. It would then revert to a variety of blues. On close inspection you can see the pixels drawn on the canvas with graphite followed up with a variety of acrylic colors. The piece is wired and ready for hanging.
