The Swiss mountains are amazing to my eye and I have to depict them on my canvas. I feel like I am a fish in the water talking about the medium, and that’s why I choose the oil paints. To stand and paint on so high mountain like this and see the mountain tops with certain names, this is an honor for me. Piz Bernina is the highest mountain in the Eastern Alps, the highest point of the Bernina Range, and the highest peak in the Rhaetian Alps. It rises 4,048.6 m and is located south of Pontresina and near the major Alpine resort of St. Moritz, in the Engadin valley. You can travel there so high with this painting!)
