As a "Painter of Life," my work explores the intersection of classical tradition and contemporary experience. While my background includes studies at the Atlanta College of Art and the University of South Carolina, my practice is defined by an autodidactic rigor and a professional foundation in illustration. These experiences have shaped a realist style rooted in technical precision and global observation. My compositions are informed by the structural mastery of the Renaissance, the emotional drama of the Baroque, and the evocative realism of Delacroix and Courbet. By bridging these historical influences with modern subjects, I seek to create a space for visual enlightenment. My goal is not to present a finished narrative, but to initiate a dialogue—inviting the viewer to bring their own perspective to the canvas and complete the work through their personal contribution.
