ABOUT THE ARTWORK
"Above Fear" is another painting by Katarzyna Bruniewska-Gierczak. Together with the paintings "The Lost World" and "My Galaxy", it constitutes a triptych from the "Maturation" series. The painting shows the figure of a young girl staring at a small child - her alter ego, which is a symbol of freedom, happiness and childhood. The girl, just like her alter ego, holds in her hand a kite from a newspaper with information about the war, inflation and the ongoing crisis. The kite is a symbol of rising above the depressing reality. it is a large painting 80x80 cm. Signed, varnished, multicolored.
