Andrey Kovalenko was born on April 20, 1976 in Odessa in the family of artists Svetlana Kovalenko-Shvedova and Yuri Kovalenko. The artist graduated from the Odessa Art School named after M.B. Grekov in 1996. He began his creative activity in 1993. On his account thirty personal exhibitions, as well as participation in group, national and international exhibitions, plein airs and biennales. Since 2008 Andrey Kovalenko is a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. His works are in the National Museums of Ukraine and private collections of near and far abroad. In 2022, when the war broke out, Andrey moved with his large family to Poland. Since then the artist lives and works in Poland.
