About The Artwork
I wanted to paint the poppies in a black background to do something different than painting them in the countryside, I wanted to paint them in a black background to emphasize the color of the flowers themselves. I wanted to differentiate the place of natural flowers that I think are very beautiful, not putting them in a countryside, where they grow naturally, but in a black background, nocturne to highlight the colors of the poppy. I have moved from their habitat of the flowers and I have them drawn in black background, color that I adore, highlighting the typical colors of the poppies that are beautiful. The canvas has been painted with acrylic colors on canvas.

I was born in Sicily,il Marzo del 57, I worked in the armed forces, but I had art in my heart as a child. I have been working for about 3 years, especially since I moved to Tunisia, a country that welcomed me and where I live divinely. I have exhibited in several Tunis galleries and I also plan to exhibit in other cities of Tunisia. Much of my paintings were bought by ItaliansI have been painting since I was young and a Roman gallerist bought all my paintings, then I interrupt my passion for the fixed place, but the art is in the blood and sooner or later it comes out and then it is the case to externalize it.
