Once my father asked me “Draw me poppies”. You know, I could not let myself to just draw poppies. I wanted to realise and point out the essence of those flowers beauty, cut the distracting details off. With child’s curiosity I started thinking about it and the more I carefully examined the flower and sketched it, the more I realised what fascinated me the most. Its fairy color isn’t something what goes unnoticed in any landscape. Your eyes are locked on tenderness of its petals, which is so fragile and tremulous that you afraid touching it not to break the beauty with false move. Sunshine passes through petals and literally lights them as scarlet lanterns. And the way how poppies protects their seeds, which are getting ready to continue flowers life in the new beginning.

Her artworks reflect on various problems, mostly related to a person's sense of self in a rapidly changing environment. However the major story is a perception of femininity, which is portrayed via a symbolic image of a girl, presented in different roles. The stylistic solution is characterized by simplification to geometrical shapes. Being an artist-designer, Tetiana’s mother cultivated a strong love for art from early childhood, which definitely influenced Tetiana’s decision to bound her life to art.
