The history of this painting is very playful. I've always loved surrealism because I think it represents all the complexity and freedom my mind needs to create. Even if art is what you understand when you see it, I will still explain every part of this painting through me to you. This ladder represents the 2nd floor, which would be the astral plane or world of spirits, as many call it. It is as if there are portals on Earth to the astral world and the telephone in the form of an old payphone is made like an eye, the third eye, which, by ancestral knowledge, when it opened you had access to other planes of other beings. This phone makes the connection between the plans and to access this "connection" you need to have your third eye open. When I do a painting she also tells me what she wants to be. I start with a small idea that becomes a world in the stains of each movement.
