2005 graduated from Tsinghua University, Academy of Fine Arts, where he received a degree in painting.
During his college, he systematically studied the history of Western art, and found his favorite classical techniques, and spent a lot of time alone learning through various means. The process of research is difficult, after all, the original is difficult to see. He loved the texture of classical oil paintings, especially in the Baroque period. It took him a long time to study the material until he found the "texture".
Portrait is one of his favorite themes. He likes to draw portraits, not just people, but he likes to paint things behind the portrait. The masterpiece of the European Baroque is his teacher, such as Rembrandt, Rubens, Vermeer, Goya, Velazquez, etc.. Of course, he also likes non figurative art. He does not rule out the performance of painting and abstract art.
He's trying to develop a new technology that is his own, creating a contemporary portrait. Like to study the color of different colors, to express the inner world of the characters.
