A representation of a never dying form of expression that is dancing. African people are very proud to manifest their identities, feelings, emotions, roots, life style, culture through the movement of their bodies in such a natural way. The green/blue water background has been painted with brush on the canvas, while the silhouettes were done with palette knife. This is one of a series of paintings with African silhouettes all made with palette knife. Every time I paint them they come out in unexpected forms.
