My artistic practice lies at the intersection of abstraction, illustration, and design. With a background in bookbinding and illustration, I have always been drawn to the expressive potential of form, texture, and composition. Over time, abstraction became the core of my visual language. For me, it is a medium that transcends narrative imagery and opens the viewer to a more intimate and personal experience. Abstraction allows each person to discover their own associations, emotions, and meanings within the work. In my paintings, I explore the tension between clarity and ambiguity. Clean, laconic shapes coexist with gestural marks; calm, balanced areas contrast with dynamic movement. I am inspired by contemporary sculpture, modern architecture, and the natural world—spaces where geometry and organic forms meet. These influences guide my approach to structure and materiality. My work as an illustrator continues to shape my sensitivity to storytelling, but in my paintings, the narrative dissolves into atmosphere. I see my abstract works as quiet invitations—open fields where viewers can stop, breathe, and find something familiar within themselves. Ultimately, my practice is a search for visual honesty and emotional resonance, expressed through simplicity, rhythm, and the tactile qualities of paint.
