Primavera 2020 Print

"Spring of beauty and hope" I painted this woman, taking my inspiration from the beautiful model Gigi Hadid's face, to celebrate the magnificence of Spring, even in dark times like the ones we are living. Hope, beauty and freedom (the butterfly) must always be part of our life, otherwise it will be the end. The sun is tenuous, almost shy, and spring is still pale but open to summer and to enjoy the first warm rays that lightly illuminate her. I hope that viewers will feel happy and find some relax looking at my artwork. Probably for some people this painting will seem a bit childish but in reality it is full of details. Hope that colours will embrace them and send good vibes. When I painted this "spring" it was during the lockdown due to coronavirus in Italy, I choose a subject like this to celebrate freedom and beauty. Oil is my favourite medium. Oil colors are magic!
