This painting was inspired by Psalm 23, the Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me besides quiet waters, he restores my soul.... surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." This painting is hung in the reception area of medical Christian charity medical clinic, where those who live in the community suffer more than physical pain, and are in constant stress. I aimed to create a painting which would bring comfort and peace to those who came for medical services. This painting was donated to this clinic. Since then, some have asked that it remain available for purchase as a print.

Like many artists, Elo Wobig has been passionate about drawing since childhood. While she enjoyed a first career as an emergency medicine physician, she continued sketching, painting murals and other creative projects for her community. Those projects gave rise to commissioned artwork, reigniting her ambition to become a full-time painter. Since 2017, she has won numerous local competitions. Most recently, her award winning work has garnered national recognition, at the American Impressionist Society Annual Juried Show 2019 held at the prestigious Salmagundi Club, where she was awarded Honorable Mention. She is honored to have her painting displayed in the permanent collection at the Museum of the Oregon Territory.
