ABOUT THE ARTWORK
As a mother, I was inspired to paint an image showing the "love" of a mother to her child. It expresses the purity between them. I have created a shell like surrounding the subject. It symbolises their protection against the elements around them. They can conquer anything! I have used mixed medium acrylic paints with marbling effects. Steel buttons were added to the design and tiny glass beads was also used to add texture to some parts of the artwork. The canvas is not yet framed. It can also be hanged unframed preferably in a white background. "To God be the glory!"
