Kim Powell is an American multidisciplinary artist who creates large-scale paintings based on intuitive abstraction. Inspired by the work of artists such as Wassily Kandinsky and Hilma af Klint, the tantric Hindu art from the 5th century, and non-dual philosophy, Powell channels paintings rich in color, movement, and depth. Powell considers her work a spiritual endeavor and a path to explore the richness of consciousness. Primarily using acrylic and oil, she synthesizes intuition and astrological awareness to create her mystical, abstract works. Powell believes that as interconnected beings, we meet in realms beyond the physical and in a space between when connecting with art. As a longtime student of Buddhism, yoga, and non-dualism, she brings deep wisdom and creativity to her evolutionary astrology readings and consultations, guiding others utilizing this ancient art form.
