I am a modern-day nomad on canvas, drawing inspiration from my global adventures. Specializing in oil, I effortlessly weave between fantasy and landscapes, breaking artistic norms with each stroke. My whimsical series of hares reflects a childhood love for doll dress-up, capturing the joy of imaginative play. These hares, donned in diverse outfits, embody my ability to infuse personality into my creations. I am not just an artist; I am a wanderer with my husband, translating our travel experiences into vibrant canvases. My art, though rooted in academic knowledge, boldly abstracts from conventional norms. Back in my hometown of Riga, I dedicated 12 years to teaching art in a private hairdressing school—a promise fulfilled to my teacher, Vitaly Karkunov. He accepted me as a private student in 1993, under the condition that I would later pass on his artistic wisdom to others. Originally from Latvia, I now reside with my husband in the picturesque landscapes of Portugal, where my art continues to evolve as a testament to the fusion of experiences. Currently work as artist and art-teacher. Telegram: Ludmila_Gallery
