Stephan Geisler works next to the realistic works also again and again free and informal. Especially the series of "Gentle Scenes" stands out in particular, because in addition to the rather restrained colors every single step and every single material is used very decidedly, clearly and quickly. Despite the gentleness, one does not recognize any hesitation. These different poles are common in Geisler's paintings. The gentle scenes have a very emotional effect both as a single image, and as a series they intensify their power through the variation of the images among themselves. The collaged material creates an extremely individual character in each case.

Born 1968 in Bergkamen in Germany, meanwhile I live and work as a freelance artist in Bochum (Germany). Studied visual communication at the University of Applied Sciences in Münster, majoring in illustration with Professor Rolf Escher. Since 1995 many national and international exhibitions, international collaborations with galleries and presentations at art fairs in Europe and partly overseas.
