. : about me

Many of my childhood memories are tied to a pencil and a piece of paper. If there is anything I brought with me into this world, is the desire to express myself through drawing and painting, a natural, almost intuitive skill.

As an adult I chose to be a Graphic Designer, and developed my business for 15 years. Of course that my designs where very artistic pieces. With time my real passion prevailed, and I began my path in art.

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I lived until ten years ago, when I moved with my family to Potomac, Maryland. Perhaps it was this great change in my life that helped me to get closer to my passion, art.

I started taking classes in painting and drawing at Montgomery College School of Art + Design; until I met my current teachers, Natasha Mokina and Victor Pakhomkin, two excellent artists of the Russian Classical School. I participated in several Workshops, and my work has been exhibited at the Winter Palace Art Gallery located in Georgetown; at the Embassy of Russia in Washington DC; and at the Embassy of Argentina in Washington DC.

Even though my art is in the classical realism, I enjoy adding my personal touch and contemporary point of view. My goal is to capture the essence of reality, looking at each object and each person, and how they are related to the environment.
