THE GOLDEN QUINCE Small painting on canvas Original decorative oil painting on canvas. The painting is textured, made with a brush, but also worked with a painting knife. Materials used, canvas, oil, brushes, solvent, paint knife. I made this painting in November 2022, during the quince season. Quince is an extremely fragrant fruit, it is the symbol of autumn in Moldova. Every year, during the quince season, I enjoy painting it. This small painting will be a wonderful decoration object for your home or a gift for your friends and family. The painting can decorate the walls in a kitchen, stimulating the appetite, or in a living room, combining beautifully with other objects in your home. The edges of the canvas are painted as a continuation of the painting. You don't have to frame them unless you want to. The size of the painting is 15x15 cm // 5.9x5.9 inches. Welcome to my gallery. My name is Victoria Bordei. I am self-taught, I returned to painting after 20 years of absence, until now I did engineering in light industry creating beautiful clothes. But one good thing happened to me during the pandemic, is that I started painting again with passion, because painting stayed deep in my soul. I finished my studies at the Academic High School of Fine Arts in Moldova, so I have professional studies in drawing and painting. I like to paint with penetrating colors, I like contrasts. I work in pencil, watercolor, oil, gouache.
