ABOUT I create contemporary paintings that transform observed reality into emotional, atmospheric visual narratives. I work in oil, acrylic and watercolor, as well as mixed media, building textured surfaces using layered paint, sand, metallic pigments and Vicol glue. My practice moves fluidly between traditional painterly methods — from glazing and imprimatura — to expressive, tactile surfaces. My works are inspired by nature, memory and the experience of place, resulting in contemporary landscape, abstract landscape and modern still life compositions. Rather than documenting what is seen, I translate it into colour, light and structure — creating paintings that invite contemplation and emotional connection. Each painting is designed as an interior-ready artwork that responds to light and space, while carrying a deeper, introspective narrative. LANDSCAPE PAINTING Landscape is a central theme in my practice, developed in the direction of contemporary landscape, abstract landscape and expressive interpretation. I explore the essence of landscape rather than its literal appearance — focusing on atmosphere, horizon, depth and silence. My textured landscape paintings combine layered paint, raw materials and subtle metallic accents to create surfaces that change with light. The landscapes I create exist between memory and imagination. They are often minimal, contemplative and rooted in natural rhythms — space, horizon, distance, light. My approach remains in dialogue with painting tradition, while moving towards a more metaphysical and introspective dimension of landscape. STILL LIFE My contemporary still life paintings move towards magical realism and symbolic composition. I arrange everyday objects not for their decorative value, but for their emotional and metaphysical potential. The composition becomes a stage where ordinary elements gain new meaning. Through restrained palettes and carefully balanced structure, I transform everyday reality into a quiet narrative that subtly exceeds the visible world, while remaining rooted in it. These works function both as conceptual artworks and as refined interior pieces for collectors who value thoughtful, atmospheric painting.
