Dario Borelli was born in Rome on 22 January 1969, where he initiated his artistic studies at the V Liceo Artistico Statale. After completing his education at the art school, he further honed his skills during a five-year tenure at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. Dario achieved recognition for his work located in Piazza Venezia 11 in Rome, securing the first prize awarded by the city prior to his graduation from the Academy of Art. Subsequently, he embarked on a prolific artistic journey, crafting numerous art objects and trompe l'oeil designs in both residential and public spaces. He co-founded the art studio "Interno 32" and the cultural association "Anno Zero," known for hosting a myriad of cultural events and exhibitions. His commitment to the preservation of cultural heritage is evident in his involvement in restoration projects for various monuments in his hometown. Dario Borelli continues his artistic endeavors in his studio in Rome, collaborating closely with friends and fellow artists. He organizes exhibitions and remains dedicated to graphic art. Since 2007, Dario has been residing and working in Switzerland. His artworks have been featured in several exhibitions, including those in Laax GR, Sevgein GR, Basel Stadt, and Lucerne, where he is currently based. In Lucerne, he engages in diverse personal and commissioned projects.
