Cinzia Busto (Milan, 1965) chooses to represent the contemporary, through the traditional means of oil painting on canvas, mediated by the elaboration of her own photographic images. Light, matter and color - irrational and mental - are the founding elements of her research that are worthy of recognition from the very beginning. The landscape, natural or urban, both memory and identity sites, are the main themes on which it builds its own vision of reality. Artistic training begins after having developed a different working career by enrolling in the courses at the High School of Art of the Castello Sforzesco. Here the teachings of the painter Alberto Venditti, from whom she learns the use of color in expressive form, will be very important for her. She will then attend several years of study at the Accademia di Brera where she will attend Italo Bressan courses, obtaining the Degree Specialized in the Department of Visual Arts at Painting.
