The work is made of 100% silk, this is a high-quality satin. I used batik, a technique of hand-painted fabric. I have increased the durability of hand-painted fabrics using pressure steam. The work is protected from all external influences, except for burnout in the sun. Therefore, it should not be hung on a wall where direct sunlight falls during the day. After dyeing, I made a "sandwich" from silk dyed by me, slimtex bulk material and natural cotton fabric. Then I connected the three layers by sewing them on the sewing machine and hand embroidering (quilting). Then the finished work, assembled from three layers, was stretched onto sturdy, durable stretchers. Red anemones are decorated in a high-quality plastic frame, the width of the baguette is about 5 cm. The frame does not completely cover the stretcher, the depth of the baguette is 1 cm less than the depth of the stretcher. When the work is hanging on the wall, it is not visible. If a collector has a desire to purchase work without a frame, then this issue can be discussed additionally. The stretcher has a secure attachment for hanging the work on the wall. This work was inspired by the delicate but vibrant anemones that bloom in early spring in my garden. The texture of natural silk is soft and smooth, like the petals of a living anemone. The batik and patchwork techniques in which the work is done bring the beauty of these flowers as close as possible and allow the viewer to enjoy the beauty of these flowers as I saw it. Red is the colour of victory and the birth of a new life. It carries energy and a good mood, like spring, which every year gives us a feast of blooming red anemones.
