ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece was inspired by the canyons of Utah and western Colorado, where I grew up. Often my friends and I would go for impromptu trips out west for the weekend to camp and sit around a fire. Just being young and free and spontaneous. When I see this work it makes me think of freedom and joy.
