Amy Wiebe Lau (Blackcherry Raven) is a Vancouver-based contemporary abstract expressionist artist whose profound journey in the art world began with an insatiable curiosity for the wonders of creation, working from her studio on the unceded and ancestral territories of the Coast Salish peoples of the Tsleil-Waututh, Musqueam and Kwikwetlem Nations. Amy creates captivating and unique pieces that explore themes of nephomancy inspired by the divination of clouds, light, and chaos between space and beauty. Driven by an innate desire to express her vision and emotions, Amy felt an unyielding need to create something out of nothing, to breathe life into her thoughts and feelings.
