This is an original acrylic painting on canvas. The painting is continued neatly around the edges of the canvas so framing is optional. It does not come ready to hang. I wanted to capture a peaceful and thoughtful moment of calm and reflection. A moment when everything feels right and good. The setting is inspired by the magnificent sunsets I see from my studio most evenings. The still water in the lake represents a feeling of calm when things are very clear to see.

Exhibiting extensively in Europe and the U.K, her work is also in private collections worldwide and is licensed for wall-art in the United States. Antoinette's paintings are considered 'naive' in style, drawing mostly on her imagination. Her work invites the viewer to enter into her sometimes surreal world of dreams and fantasy. Solitary figures, animals and long shadows are recurring themes where there is always a little light to be found in the dark.
