About The Artwork

Central part of the triptych ”Repentance”. This piece ironically comments our present civilization obsession with a time and space, and incapability to except scientific evidences about relativity of time. The piece introduces a several quotations, the most dominant is a work by Giambattisto Tiepolo ”Time uncovering truth” and "Sacrifice of Isaac". NOTICE Street art on canvas: it means that the image is deliberately painted rough, with visible brush strokes and high colour transparency... The result is an extreme energy of the composition in the foreground, with no mitigation perspective and illusion. Inspired by the style of graffiti artists - broad strokes, clear colour and two-dimensional effects to be visible on a busy street or within a greater distance. The difference from the classical street or graffiti art is intention and structure of this images - the mix of figurative scenes, abstract expressionism, pop art, references to art history and computer graphics painted by hand... Real image is somewhere between the canvas and spectator gaze. At home, from the wall, this painting radiates high level of energy and you should choose a space for it accordingly.
