‘Return To Innocence’ My first painting of 2022 is a reminder to just let the Universe take you to where you are meant to be. Do not try to control it as you do not need to know how it happens, why it happens, or when it happens, just allow it to happen – This is called Innocence. Take yourself to your own chakra waterfall and refocus on the not needing to know, and you too will Return to Innocence. This painting is named after the Enigma song of the same name with these beautiful lyrics: “Love (love) Devotion (devotion) Feeling (feeling) Emotion (emotion) Don't be afraid to be weak Don't be too proud to be strong Just look into your heart, my friend That will be the return to yourself The return to innocence The return to innocence And if you want, then start to laugh If you must, then start to cry Be yourself, don't hide Just believe in destiny Don't care what people say Just follow your own way Don't give up and use the chance To return to innocence That's not the beginning of the end That's the return to yourself The return to innocence It's the return to innocence…” Full of beautiful textures, this painting is an original, one-off piece, and captures my raw, unique and spiritual side.
