ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Ram skull engulfed in colorful flames. This piece started out to just be the ram skull. As I painted I saw a fierce, angry emotion coming from the skull. With all going on in the world today, I decided to add flames to represent anger and resentment, and I came to the title "Revenge". I hope this piece represents these feelings. I love to paint happy pieces, but the world and our emotions are not always happy. I used gold leaf paint to trim the skull, and I decided to add colorful flames to offset the black background.
