About the Artist

Lucinda Watt

United Kingdom

My fascination with art and painting began at an early age inspired by my grandma who painted and exhibited professionally. After experimenting at college with different mediums and techniques, I went on to study Art History and take inspiration for my own artwork from the great masters of art including Bridget Riley, David Hockney and Georgia O’Keefe.

After graduating with a First, I continued to paint avidly taking private commissions, exhibiting nationally and winning awards. I have been a member of the Lloyds Art Group since 2010 and the Wallop Artists Group since 2018 and take part in their annual Exhibitions. I also sell paintings and prints through Etsy and my own website, and have exhibited at Orleans House Gallery in Twickenham, St-Martin-in-the-Fields in Trafalgar Square, Battersea Arts Centre, London City Airport, Landmark Art Fair in Teddington, and Reading and Windsor Art Fairs - to name a few!

Landscapes and wildlife are a big inspiration for my art and I have particularly enjoyed the latest craze for outdoor painting challenges and have taken part in Pintar Rapido in Chelsea, and Windsor & Eton Plein Air in Her Majesty’s garden.
