ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The origin of this work is in the bible, that states in Genesis 3:16: Unto the woman He said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception. In sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. One of the few terrible examples of patriarchy in the bible, concocted to oppress women. I created this work on a wooden MDF board with acrylic paint and then added the text and some effects digitally.
