ABOUT THE ARTWORK
While listening to the song « Run for your Life » by the Beatles, the artist was struck by the harsh lyrics of the song. Everyone interested can find this track on the B side of the « Rubber Soul » album, released on december third 1965. Puzzled and intrigued by the lyrics he heard, not quite the lyrics one would expect from the cheerful Beatles, the artist played the song as many time he needed to draw tens and tens of sketches and drawings. One one those sketches - literally made in seconds - just jumped out of the pile and he knew he had captured the song on paper. The rest of the evening and the next day, the artist achieved to transform this sketch into an acrylic on canvas. A very strange feeling indeed.
