Run to the Roar Print

My inspiration came to me after a year long hibernation of pain from the accidental death of my husband while on vacation. As the fog of grief and pain started to lift, COVID-19 was bidding for international attention. In addition, the US was experiencing more violence and trauma which brought attention to the movement Black Lives Matter. While creating and painting, I gained the courage to “run to the roar”. Run to the Roar created space for God to work in my life, healing my pain and giving me courage to face my fears. A tremendous shift began to occur in the atmosphere surrounding my life as I gained the courage to speak my truth in love. I hope the painting will continue to inspire and encourage people to face their fears boldly.
