"Runkerry" Fine Art Print

Born on the north coast of Ireland. I am an a retiring artist. Subject matter is usually landscape based, from memory or plein aire sketches to ensure a loose interpretation of the place, the weather at the time, feelings or textures or colours I experience at the time. I also use memories of family/childhood relationships, events, items as inspiration to produce more abstracted expressionist work. Colour and spontaneity are the key elements to the paintings I produce and admire. My loves are Klee, Dufy, and Howard Hodgkin, modern aboriginal art, and the fauve movement. I predominantly work in acrylic but also watercolour and mixed media. I work on card or heavy weight watercolour paper and the pieces on Saatchi art are supplied unframed ( mounted if necessary and with backing board) so you can select what you wish in the way of framing and for ease of carriage as most of the pieces will require glass.
